Day one's task was set LONG at 338 kilometers, starting at Dalby and finishing at Mitchell to the west.

We're currently riding out the storm and effects of Tropical Cyclone Hamish.

-this means pleny of time in the coffee shops...

The winds should start to back off soon.

We're all hoping for a couple more days of some big air racing.

UPDATE 14/03/09:

After 3 more days of flying and two EPIC last days, we're now done!

1st    Curt Warren            Moyes Litespeed RS 4

2nd   Jonny Durand, Jr.    Moyes Litesport 4

3rd    Steve Blenkinsop    Moyes Litespeed S 3.5

These three pilots, along with Scott Barett, will make up the Australian Hang Gliding Team.

The 2009 World Championships will be held in Laragne, France, in June 2009.
