Learning to Fly in Sydney & Wollongong
Here are recent photos from some of our flying sites that we use for professional hang gliding instruction:

Above: Jonathan, of Helensburg, NSW, leaping from Stanwell Tops on his first solo flight!
Stanwell Tops, is great for the instructional tandem flights. -learning how to set up the landing approach, and where to find the lift on certain days. Stanwell Tops takes a south to an east wind. Speeds from 2 knots to 25 knots are commonly flown.

Above: Dave, from Canberra, on one of his first bunny hops from Bells Point, Austinmer. He's in the Airborne Fun 190. We've recently bought two of the new Moyes Malibu 188 gliders (not pictured). We're happy with these as well. Bells Point, Austinmer takes a light E-NE wind as is great for students first low solo flights.
Above: Jack at Bulli Park, NSW. This site works in nil wind to light S to E winds.
Bulli Park is wonderful for learning the core techniques of launching a glider or fine tuning (refresher courses) the skills
Above: Jack from Canberra, in the Wills Wing Condor 225. This is our specialized wing imported from California. What makes it so special is it's massive size and its light-weight. This gives us a great training option on the no wind days. It's small control frame and light-weight helps out for the smaller folks.

Above: One of our hang gliding students and club pilot flying high above the five islands at Hill 60 in Port Kembla.
Hill 60 has a range of sites for the learning student (under supervision) to the advanced pilot wanting to "dune goon".
Hill 60 likes winds anywhere from E-NE to N-NE, 5-20 knots.
