This is what a great forecast chart looks like (for hang gliding in Sydney):

Overall, we've had HEAPS of great wind (direction and speed) this month, with lots more on the horizon...
IF, you weren't aware...
...the wind runs along the isobar lines, in a counter-wise direction (high-pressure system in the Southern Hemisphere). The onshore breeze will allow us to soar the hang gliders at Stanwell Tops for hours!
