2009 Worlds: Hang Gliding Gear
Above: Flying above launch
The Gear...
The Icaro 4flight helmet.
What I like about it:
Protection: It has a European certification for airborne sports.
Aerodynamic
OPEN FACE (no chin guard): That let's me eat, drink, yell, and spit while in the air. It also gives full visibility. Alternatively, a full-face may protect your jaw, but it restricts your vision, and could create more leverage on you head/neck in the odd event of a stack. Your choice.
Visor option: Flying in cold air, or extreme altitudes is possible.
I recently traveled to the factory in Italy and am now set up to soon be importing these.
Costa Del Mar Sunglasses (photo above):
These are truly the most unbelievable sun glasses.
Buy them, and you SEE for yourself.
There's plastic and glass lens options. All are polarized.
Glass gives you more clarity and scratch resistant, but add the threat of broken glass in the face. I've personally chosen the copper glass lens. We will soon be selling Costa Del Mar Sunglasses.
Above: Attila Bertok's new carbon keel, produced by Moyes. Finally, but it's sweet....
Above you can see the extra piece that cleans-up the pull-back cable.
Very sexy.
Australian pilots can contact us for future sales and installation of the carbon keel.
There's much more gear coming...
