Warren Windsports FAT Straps are the best straps to tie down your hang glider. These gear straps are made with wide "seat-belt" webbing that is strong, but does not press into and crinkle your sail's Mylar leading edge. The wide or "Fat" webbing also grips your gear well, to prevent slippage, making them awesome for surf boards, too..
The buckles won't rust or dent the car, and are made out of heavy-duty plastic so you won't need to worry about UV breaking it down.

These straps are awesome, quick to use, and don't crush the Mylar inside your sail's leading edge, which could affect a hang glider's performance. I also LOVE the FAT Straps for my Standup (SUP) surf boards! I suggest getting the longer 2.9m length for surfboards, or transporting more hang gliders.
