While flying in the USA, Curt has attended some eye-opening and informative parachute seminars, presented by Betty Pfeiffer of High Energy Sports.

The Quantum Series parachutes have been particularly popular since a dramatic deployment rescue by Adam Parer while competing at the 2009 Gulgong Classic Competition.

High Energy Sports have been involved in the innovation of various sports safety systems since 1982.  Besides hang gliding and paragliding, High Energy Sports has a history of involvement with many other sports such as skydiving, speed boat and car racing.  A milestone moment for the company came in 1993 with the development of the Quantum Series parachutes, still used by the American Special Forces today.
