Gift Vouchers and Tandem Flights

Tandem hang gliding is a weather dependent sport. Pre-paid Tandem Flights are valid for 1 year from date of purchase. It is suggested to have a few dates in mind, in case the wind/weather is not suitable on your preferred date.

Flights can be rescheduled if there is unsafe weather at the time of your booking.
Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are not refundable on the grounds of cancelled bookings due to weather, or change of mind.  Pre-paid tandem flights and vouchers are transferable to another person.

Warren Windsports Online-Store Vouchers are not refundable, but are transferable.

In-flight Photos and DVD's

Rare, but occasional technical problems with photos/videos:
Videos that did not record on the day of the flight due to a technical problem (memory card, electronic hic-up...) will be refunded in full.  Another tandem flight can be purchased for the passenger at 20% off if they wish to fly again to hopefully capture a video successfully.

If there are technical problems with the in-flight photos they cannot be refunded if they were part of a free-photo deal or package.  Although, if the photos had been purchased additionally, then extra cost of the photos will be refunded in full.  We will always make it our mission to use the highest quality and most reliable camera equipment and memory cards.

Store Items

We hope you are completely satisfied with your purchase, however if you are not or the item is not as described please contact us to discuss returning the item. We accept unopened, unused or unworn or faulty items within 28 days of purchase for exchange.

Items can be refunded in full, minus a 10% restocking fee. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. For orders paid by credit card, the amount will be refunded to the same card. Otherwise refunds will be made via direct deposit into a bank account as nominated by the customer.

Of course, a restocking fee will not be charged for faulty items.

Custom Ordered Gear

No refund will be available for custom ordered gear.  Warren Windsports can often assist by selling pilots' gear on a consignment basis (percentage of commission is 20%).

Hang Gliding Lessons

Our hang gliding lesson fees are not refundable. To assist our students, we have split the lesson fees into two halves so students can decide whether they wish to continue after the first half. The lessons fee structure is explained in more detail in the course information supplement. The lesson fee-credit is valid for one year from date of purchase. However if a student ceases training for a period of 3 months or more, they may lose their position in the course. Additionally their course credit will be forfeited.

How to return an item

1. Please email us to request a return.
2. Send item to address below by Registered Australia Post. Please include a signed letter stating reason for return, and a copy of the original invoice.
3. Please also ensure that the item is packaged adequately for shipping.  The item needs to be returned in original condition, so purchasing shipping insurance should be considered.
4. After the item has posted, please email Warren Windsports with the tracking number.

Cancelling Orders

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately on 0434222111, and we can cancel your order if it has not been dispatched. Custom orders can only be cancelled before the order has been submitted to our supplier.
