Cancellations

We understand that sometimes issues arise that prevent you from being able to make your booking. If this is the case, please contact us within 48 hours of your booking to make a cancellation. Any late cancellations or no-shows will result in the cancellation of your voucher or pre-paid flight.

Having 48 hours notice will allow us the chance to find another passenger to fill your spot, and give someone else the opportunity to fly.

Cancellations due to weather

As hang gliding is weather dependent, please keep in mind that the weather may not be suitable on the first day that you book your flight. It may even take several bookings before the weather is suitable for you to fly.

We have all passengers call us between 8 and 8:30am on the morning of their flight to check on the weather and see if flights will be going ahead that day. If the wind is not suitable for hang gliding, we will inform you during the morning call.

In some cases, the local weather turns out to differ from the morning forecast. We always do our best to give passengers the opportunity to fly, however in some cases the flight will have to be cancelled or delayed after you arrive on site. We understand that this can be inconvenient, but I'm sure you will understand that safety is our number one priority.

We have developed a Weather page on this site, in order to help you understand the winds required for hang gliding and the forecasting sites which we use to make our decisions about flying. This Weather page is meant to assist our clients with monitoring and understanding the weather, if you're interested, and does not replace the need for the morning weather phone call on the day of your booking.
