Passenger Requirements
There are certain requirements to participate in an Introductory Tandem Flight.
Passenger Requirements
| Age: | 14 years and above |
| Weight: | Less than 105kg |
For your tandem flight you will need to sign up as a temporary student member of the Hang Gliding Federation of Australia. You will also need to sign a Release, Assumption of Risk and Warning Form (RARW). The fee for HGFA membership is included in the price of the tandem flight.
Passengers under 18 years:
Must have the RARW form signed by a parent or guardian.
Health Requirements
Hang Gliding as a tandem passenger is very accessible activity to a wide range of people. We have taken people flying who have various abilities and disabilites.
If there are any conditions that a passenger has that you think may affect their ability to hang glide as a tandem passenger, please bring it to the Pilot Instructor's attention prior to the flight. This does not generally mean that the passenger cannot hang glide. But the Instructor may need to make necessary adjustments or flight considerations to ensure a safe flight.
